Dude, Comedian, you're the most annoying person ever. All you do is clutter up this board with useless 12 year old comments about how good Slipknot is and how hardcore you are cuz you think you wanna be posesed by the devil and then have your organs burned in a sacrafice to the goat god of the guy with the long nose or something rediculous like that.

well im not gonna argue about small stuff like this,
but from being a fan for before they were famous, id have to say they they dont necessary "glorify" anything except anger
their songs dont say anything about hating god or whorshipping satan...the songs are mainly about how bad their life was growing up or how bad it is..some of them are about suicide, some of them are about how he hates his dad, some are about letting your anger out on someone

the reason they wear masks and jumpsuits, is because its the music that counts, its what the music does to you...and this has been said many times..."image is everything" they dont want this image to carry along with them....their songs didnt play on the radio till it leaked out, there wasnt many tapings of their show, etc.,..they wanted it to be strictly undergound....they had a huge fanbased thing goin on until they reached a point to where they got a little too popular when they released their debut cd....and now people just want to hate.....everyone hates on something...and now people like you do the same...

anyways....masks and costumes arent out....you guys just dont know enough music that isnt mainstream

Slipknot...they are just radio metal nothing more than that. In my opinion they are whining in their songs, they probably lie about these things actually happening to them. They have no solid rythyms or new innovative riffs.

My advise leave slipknot and go to something more real and with a better sound, even being hard and edgy many bands can pull off a smooth flow with heavy pounding and high speeds.

so what "real" bands would u pre. then? any who u ppl hve ur opinions an i hve mine an i heard this stuff before i had ppl agree w/ me an ppl against me it dosent matter im gonna keep listening to them an always will listen to them an not some crappy band like creed or nickelback.

Ok lets agree to disagree then.

I prefer many bands and many music stylings. I'll list a few of my FAVORITEs, these arent the only things i like just some of my favorites.

I truly enjoy System of a Down when it comes to a metal sound plus they are very innovative in their sounds. And i like that they are politically knowledgable and sing about politics.

When it comes to punkish stuff, i prefer Pennywise, Offspring, and Bad Religion.

Hardcore wise i like Snapcase, THUMB, Hatebreed.

Just a small list of my likes. Heck i like Rap too, Tupac and 50 cent are my favs.
