Accounts being hacked is not new.....It has happend on many boards that I frequent.
If he was really guilty I doubt he would sign under a new name and try to explain it....anyone who posts that kind of crap *cussing* etc does not give a rip.......generally guilty parties don't try to explain themselves or appologize....so I would give him the benifit of the doubt....I think he is honest.
Besides.....it's unlikely that the guy who did it would want to associate his new username with the offending username and pretend he did not do it......considering he could just start fresh and no one would be the wiser!...there is no point in doing that.
Hope that made sense.

datamonster, thanks for the explanation, that makes a lot more sense. We'll go ahead and keep the other account banned since it's been compromised already, and hopefully you'll prove with your subsequent posts from this new account that you're not the kind of person that would post what was posted by your old account.

Not funny at all; why would we want inappropriate language on our front page? Potential new users could come to the site, see that name under "Newest User" and never come back.
