We used to, but we sold it. But, I can use our kitchen floor, and just set up some obstacles made out of lego I could form a track out of that

hey Legion wut did u make the track out of and can u take it apart and make i new track?
|
xXx_Vegito_xXx the track is 6mm MDF as the base and 46mm x 11mm pine for the frame. The lanes are painted with blackboard paint. I can separate the two 4' x 4' sections and can use these as individual tracks and I am thinking of making two 4' gutters to join the two halves giving me a 12' straight.

Hey Legion, won't the car go off the track when yo uare racing? Those roads are REALLY small!
|
xatu the lanes are at least 6" wide, these pics are a couple of weeks old and I have widened some of the turns. Yes it's quite a difficult track but that's what I wanted.

If you have some extra $$ you can go buy some masking tape... This is what I used for tracks that I built with some friends in our spare time at school. We set up a table and tape it up with walls, bumps, ramps, obsticals...
Of course, we had to tear it down when we were done with it, but rebuilding a new track every time is part of the fun!
We also have two large peices of green foam board that we're gonna use eventually.

I have a old lil fisher price pool table from when i was a young'in, and i went out n bought the zip-zap grand prix set and made a short track(Kinda like a Bristol for all you NASCAR fans). its the same exact layout as the one in the pic above on the pool table, w/ the "dink" in one of the straits, its even complete with caution lights, local billboards(which i used busness cards) and grand stands & transporters that i printed out and made from the Track Development Kit from Bit Char-G Grand Prix . I run a 2.2 Boost Fairlady on it, and its perfect, Or im jus 2 dawm good at these things . That ZZ track set is worth the money! It comes with like 4 times the crap as the bit one, and its only $9.99! and it all locks together via lil orange clips. once i get a digital camra or fix my scanner, ill post sum pics of it and all of my crazy custom bits, that'll surely gonna make u ppl flip lol

The highly anticipated track! It took us 3 weeks to make. The green is artificial turf. The banners are printed off the comp and put on oak tag. The color is flat black with many layers of varnish. The color is just regular paint. The body of the track is cut out of styrofoam insulation. The track works best with a 1.0 motor, drift kit and no front tires. The next track project is a speed course to be used with 2.6 motor.
