Need help. Must be Halloween and the sugar buzz with a lot of energy drinks that must be fogging my mind.
There is a kios that has knock off cars at the local mall. They sell three differnet clones. One is a MicroQ, one is a Bulett clone and the other is like a Tomy box not LXX but a name. What other boxed Bits clones are there?
Also if the list grows how about a simple rating system. Steering, motor. etc.

A new Walmart clone?
This new one was picked up halloween morning. Ok I'm working on the pictures (darn comcast screwing with my site!).
- Motor Works mini RC.
- Unknown body type/brand.
- Screw to hold front of body on, tab as usual for the back or body.
- Wired motor.
- Thicker tires with smaller wheels.
- LED built in.
- Rear axle is held in by a seperate plastic piece which is screwed in.
- 110 Mah Battery STOCK.
- 3 AA batteries for controller
- 3 AAA batteries for chargins station, with a button to begin charging
- 2 wire steering, with the magents where the bit coils are and the coil where the bit magnet is!!!
- no form of suspension or sway bar set up.
Pros: Fast as my 2.6 Bit maybe as fast as the 3.0 non-boost.
Good handling stock. Metal antennae. Cheap, $13.88.
Cons: LOUD, LED is very dim. No on/off on controller. Bad indoor range (49Mhz and about 8 feet without mods). UGLY Body (but this was the last one so i got it). Screw to hold front of body on. Lots of batteries needed (3 each of AAA and AA). Controller shape is awkward.
attached is the photo of the unit...everything else will have to wait for slow Comcast to do something.

Good luck with it. They have a tendency to go bad quickly.

Mind lasted about 24 hours. The problem was the charger basicaly went mad! It would turn it self on and off. Ate two sets of AAA. The car and the transmitter work well. And was very speedy.
Just pick up a MicroQ fire truck with moving ladder. They hold up well.

Ghost of Akina,
The QFM post was really just a list of all micro RCs. The thread was renamed shortly after to "master clone list". This is why they were included in the list. yes they are the real thing. Hope this clears things up.

i really don't want to consider one of the rat shack clones though, they are too ugly (wheels) and the body looks ratty/cheesy, kind of like a hippie mobile in rx7 skin. Plus the controller is round like the canned heat (it's in the flyers). I'd rather take the Lxx clones which are basically bits, just oem ones.

I just bought my first mini R/C car and it was a Atomic Toys Z-Car. http://www.atomictoys.com/zcars.html They come in 4 colors and 27 and 49mhz. I have nothing to compare it too as this is my first mini car but I have to say it works great! It goes straight very well and speed is okay. It's completely stock with it's 2.2 motor. I ran 0-10' in 4.32, 4.25, & 4.26 seconds...so it's pretty consistent too. It runs on carpet in my office, but the time trials were in my basement on a cement floor. The controller works well, the body styles are all BLAH, there's a built in red LED in the car. The controller makes car noises which thankfully has an off button and also has red LED's that flash in a sequence which is suppose to make the car showy when just sitting in it's pod. This battery draining option is also thankfully able to be turned off. It has a telescopic antennae and range is decent...I get 10-15' in my basement so far...in my office I get more like 20-30'. They only run $19.99 which is why I bought it.
