Yeah, he probably means that at the end of 2 hours it won't even move.

No, the wheels move, it just has no more torque after that. Are the Rayovacs any good? Also, how do you get a pinion gear off of a motor? I have a sb motor, but I can't get the gear off of the other motor. I have a Stage 2 Drag in it right now, so I can destroy the stock motor.

Yeah, Rayovac IC3's are awsome, you'll get a longer run time, with more tourqe, and they charge in 15 minutes.
You need a pinon puller to get a pinion off an armature without damaging either. If you get one, make sure it'll work with XMods' shaft diameter.

If you do it that way, don't expect to have a usable gear or a usable motor. Just get a pinion puller and save yourself the grief.

I just got new batts (couldn't find IC3s, just found aas) and I tore not only a tire, but somehow ripped out a wire to the batt pack. I'm at my dad's house, so there's no iron w/ me. I'm gonna go up to the blue motor, because this has too much torque (did I just write that?). On an unfinished floor, I do perfect drifts, but on finished hardwood, it's just donuts at full speed. Oh well, at least I made plates to match my dad's 1:1 RSX (it's silver also). I almost forgot, why did RS make the RSX w/ no sunroof? All RSX's here are sold with one. That bugs me. Also, it rides lower than it should compared to the real thing, but I'm not complaining. Later.
Edit: My X is losing range! I had to resolder the wire to the metal thing. Now bad range, what should I do?

Still running those 9v batts??
You possibly could have fried a resistor in the receiver on the car.
Or a short to ground on the antenna or short to positive I should say.
go here for some more insite on this........

Yeah, but I've only driven it with it twice, and it started losing range when I was driving with 6 cells, not the 9 volt.

I have seen some peoples range decrease with the six cell, because.....
A. You fried the L1 or something resistor.
B. You have the wire(black) one that goes to the antenna crossing some other wires like the ones for the 2 other batteries and it is causing interferance.
My friend had to move his antenna up front cause it would go about 10+ and start to sputter.

well, the resistor isn't fried, and the wires aren't crossed. Anyway, I'm gonna replace them.

Well, now the resistor's fried. Somehow, the wire musta touched a terminal. I was fixing the 6 cell, and I smell burning popcorn. First, I wlked over to the soldering iron, but nothing. I look back, and there's anice large curl of smoke pouring outta the plastic cover surrounding the crystal. Oh well, anyone have an extra front board? BTW, I live to work on anything.
