You know, I don't expect everybody to like me. But the people don't like me only see one side of the picture, and that's me trying to sell my creations.

I fund my own R&D'ing (money I work hard for), and spend seriously countless hours to perfect my creations. Yeah, I do charge more than what people would normally pay for, but it's like an art. An artist paints a picture, and it depends on the an art enthusiast how much it's worth to him or her.

One thing's for sure, if I make a claim that it's hand wound and made by me, yes, it is made by me, and I guarantee that it will meet what you would expect when you pay for what I'm asking for.

Just because I posted my MEGA-X doesn't mean I'm promoting it. If I know of a good motor and if it's better than mine, I'd show it off just the same as I would my own.

Bottom line: the other seller is the fake one. He's the real deal when it comes to cheating people for their money. He's been doing this long before Xmods ever existed.

You guys who hate me, only feel that way because you've never dealt with me person to person. The only time you guys will see the asshole out of me is when you guys show me your asshole side. Other than that, I respect people.

I didn't have anything against either until the Redline guy started insulting me after some questions about his motor.

NML has answered my questions before, no fussing either. He's cool in my book, if I were to buy a big motor, it'd be his...

I'm more interested in perfecting my own motor building skills at this point, even if the end result isn't as good.

I guess im wrong, hes not SHARING...b/c he isnt giving the EXACT specs..which would be cool..but then people can try to copy (still need expirence)..but i just feel that someone that spends alot of time making these little creations, deserves some respect..

I think it's stupid to hate someone because they wont share motor specs. Why would he share that stuff if he' trying to sell. hate is a strong word you dont even know him. If people are going to dislike him thats life but hating someone who wont share his lunch is childish.

I've meet him through miniz's and I consider him a friend sorry to have to vent, but this a stupid thread. Let's just talk about xmods.

Most of us don't have a problem with the whole specs issue. My issue with NML, and the vast majority of the other guys, is their marketing. I don't like shameless self promotion in community forums, and I realy hate advertising packed with hyperbole and analogies that are, well, juvenile.

I don't need to know how many turns at what gauge, etc, but rather than tell me some V12 big block yadda yadda BS, tell me something useful, like X rpms, Y torque, Z amps, etc. Facts, people, not nonsense.

Nosser, I hear ya there. Im just saying it would be nice, but he's not sharing. Its cool, That's his secret, and that's what makes him #1. So I don't expect him to share now that you put it that way..lol...

Rez, Im not sure if I agree with you. If the person that's selling something, isn't spamming the board then I feel its ok. But maybe NML can get some more respect if he comes on and helps people with motor problem? Just a thought. - Dean

ok...now i acctually like nml more...i dont know why...maybe its because he posted here about what people think of him...i have more respect for him now because he just sombody like us who trys out diffrent things and when he gets them right and almost perfect, he sells them. he needs money too you know. plus he made motors for mini-z's and people liked them so they must be good.. now im actually thinking about investing in one of his motors. NOW...im against that other dude microinnovations or somthing...with the redline motor...i never even intended to buy one of his....they just sound so stupid... sorry man..but if you come up with an excuse too then....um......i donno..

I am sharing, if you go xmodworld.com, I made a post under motor upgrades, that I will be releasing all motors that you can use for Xmods. Instead of putting together Crest Spin brush, etc. which does put an impact in the environment to a certain degree, and possibly oil prices too, because plastic is derived from oil, after all.

I just need time to put it altogether as far as motor tips are concerned.

Just want to say thanks to people who understand where I'm coming from.

Tip# 1: What to use other than putting tape on your tires for drifting: Heat Shrink tubing. Will post pictures when I find time.

2. Come on man! Not one freakin period or coma in both of them posts.

Back on topic,
I have a nml motor and am happy with it. The torque and top end is NOT great but good enough for a stock board.

Funny how after I was a "jerk about it" you tried to clean up your post.
Actually, I'm pretty sure you were being the jerk with your reply to my original post. Maybe I should start another thread asking if I was a jerk, or maybe asking who was a jerk to who first.
Oh well.
