Foam tires = lotta traction.

Quote:
the motor get's jacked. high rpm running isn't good for a motor. it puts excessive wear on the motor. like would u sit at the stoplight and rev ur engine for 10 minutes? wait. so would i. but just the same, revvin it hurts it.
i have a 10 year old RC 10 buggy that has a motor with adj. timing and would running it with the motor redlining thats why i'm constantly rebuilding it? and with the timing advanced as far as its supposed to go kill the batteries faster? and would retarding the timing give me longer run times?

hmm. i dunno. you'll have to ask someone else about that. im pretty sure ull get better results by retarding it. but don't take that from me. im a nitro guy. i had an electric 4-tec so i know a little about electronics. not as much as nitro, but i know a good amount about electronics.

yea, but if u can't steer it above 40 mph then it doesn't matter. the engine puts out like 45000 rpm or something. i can't remember the traxxas 2.5 specs. but it was fully wound out.
