Well, when you can run the tallest available gear ratio (3.82:1) and still out accelerate the guys running stage 2 with 6:1 gears, I'd say that's a big difference.

We're talking about pulling as much as 2 feet of distance on just a 10 foot straightaway here. Of course, that also means you had better be good with the brakes, as well.

Are you refering to the stock team orion motor(without 10turns off)? If it was with your modified team orion, is it still singnficantly better in its stock form? Also what modifications are required in order to run 180 motors?

At the time that I posted that, I never even ran that motor stock in a car. I ripped it apart and took off 10 turns after hearing it run. It just didn't sound fast enough. I now have one that I have kept stock, and the acceleration is still that good. Top end suffers with the stock motor, though.

I think that Big Block motor is going to be a challenge to fit, but since you made that other one fit, this one should be possible, too. I'd check the current draw on it though. I still need to find an FC-260 motor. It would be much easier to mount than these round can motors, and would perform pretty well.

you can order metal axels from RS for the front and the back
I ordered some joint cups for my car 2 days ago.

We can get them in metal?

What is the part # for the metal pieces?

Each piece I got were $2.50. Hopefully I don't get plastic.
