I say you get your chassis to the longest setting and see how THAT looks first. If it is long enough then go return ur supra (thats what I assumed you had from your frequency) and get a skyline. That has the longest chassis setting. Hopefully you done have to cut that body because it looks soooo close to getting to the perfect size

right now it is at the longest setting, and im getting more worried now. i photoshop tested how it would look if i cut out that area...highly disproportionate. so now im looking at the chassis.
if there was just one more length setting it would fit. so im thinking of adding one. im thinking of extending it with a thin piece of plywood wiht screw holes in it, about 1/4 in. long. My old technology teacher had us do a project where he gave us metal axle-rods, and now that i think about it, they looked like extra long driveshafts for these, so i might wanna go about contacting him for some.

That's going to be a tough one. I tried the same thing on an integra body I'm working on right now. I'm impatient so I went ahead and cut it about where you marked off. IT was ok, but the roof looked way out of whack. I just chopped the top off and went from there. Just try different locations to see where you can get it to generally line back up. As far as how to cut it, tis is what I did. I'm sure there are much safer ways to go about it, but once again I'm very impatient. I started to same way you did, put a piece of masking tape down that was as wide as I needed. I cut down the middle with a dremel. This is where you can screw up easily. I took an exacto and slowly scored down the edge of the tape. DO THIS SLOW!! Do this a few times and cut all the way through, or go most of the way through and start bending the cut with needle nose pliers It should snap off clean. Then sand down and stick it back together. Hope this helps. Good luck, that would be a sick body.

thanks for the tips, i'll tell you how it goes. i'm also working a camaro body that'll be MUCH easier to cut, the roof is almost completely straight, so are the doors and everything else, it'll line up like magic.
