With the RS charger, 2 hours the first time, then 45 minutes to an hour after that.

about 45 mins from a dead cell. but you get about 30 mins of play time.

i spent too much money on the batts but they work well and i already got my money's worth. i paid $60 and i got them at best buy. 1 hour charger and two packs of AAA's(4 in a pack), and the charger came with 4 AA's that i use in my digital camera.

When you charge the XMODS rechargable batteries are they supposed to be hot? When I touched mine they were hot.

Look at the "Rayovac i-c3" thread. They are by far the best. Plus they charge in 15 minutes, that is no joke and lasted me with my stage 2, about an hour of strong run time.

so were can u buy the "Rayovac i-c3" here in calif? I haven't found any @ radioshack, but were?

.I got some at first for 14.99 from Walgreens. They are in the charger right now.......hoping for good results  . They are 800 mah and they come in packs of 4.

How do you use the MRC Super Brain 959 to recharge AAA's? I have the same charger and was going to try it out. My thought was to use a 4 cell AAA holder and just clip the charger to tabs. My question is what setting to try? What do you use?
