I agree with Namuna on this one. The bodies do ride too high on these Zips. Of course, seeing that the wheels are equivalent to running 40's at this scale is one reason why. I'm a bit disapointed in some bodies as well. The Challenger is just plain ugly from most angles and doesn't even look like the actual body style. The Yenko Camero is much better but still sits like a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Could be that making the cars more true to scale than bits only heigtens the perception that they are off scale when minor discrepancies crop up like body height and wheel size. This could be why bits were scrunched in the first place. I mean, if it isn't even close to scale, little things don't stand out so much. But then, if they were perfect, no mods would be needed to personalize them and improve them.

I think Azimov's right. I believe they kept a little bit of "modibilty" in mind for SEs. If everything was close to perfect we wouldn't have much to do to them (how boring).

Although in looks as if an internal dual cell might difficult (with the new batt size), lowering is another classic mod that I guess everybody will keep doing.

even if they made them perfect, we would have to mod them, to be faster than the other guy lets just hope that the epoxy is easy to remove., Laymans quad cell may be fun.

Edit: hey namuma, ever think about doing qtvr for the se... for those if us who cant see it in person, btw i was the hulk on your site, pretty nifty

ive been chipping away at the top black coat.......it seems to be some kinda paint, it comes off easily enuff scraping with my fingernails.....

all the transistiors are around the wires, which are a bit difficult to get at, but once i figure out where to put the fets....its gonna be over!!!

also i noticed on the bottom side of the pcb, there looks to be a stacked fet/transistor close to the wires.......thats prolly one of the forward ones being that it goes a little faster forward than reverse.
