where can u get the 5.0 motor???ill try 1..and also the 7.8...if i get dem things...i would only use the 7.8 for drag....take out all the turing thingys put a steel rod connecting the wheels....and a huge wheelie bar and a model rocket parachute... few batteries...all the mods i can do..then no1 can even come cose to me ...o yea..whats that boost thing??and how can u get that?

Anything past a 3.8 would be incredibly stupid. Your car would flip up backwards and make a whole buncha noise on its back. You'd set it back on its wheels, and do it all over again.

7.8 isn't for bits, and 5.0 doesn't exist. If you were to run 3.6 volts to a theoretical 5.0 with 12:1 gearing, you'd just be wasting your time, cuz it wouldn't be able to stay on the road. Also, why does everyone think 12:1 is faster? Its slower, 8.45:1 would be faster, so while you're shooting for your theoretical top speed of 30 mph, why not do that too? All laws of physics say this is a stupid exercise, and 3.8 is the fastest you'll ever be able to buy for your bit, unless you want a useless car you can just brag about as being uncontrollably fast.

u guys havent pointed out the fact that it would be undrivable even in a straight line because of the major amounts of wheel spin. Wheelie bars would be of no help because i dont think you could ever find enough traction. If the front wheels were even a little off alignment-wise it would spin donuts even when you were turning the opposite way! It would still be really cool though!!!!!

Talking

hehehe....i kno that would happen but to shocon2k i really wanna go 30mph wit my bit..it would be sooooo coooool...then spoliers and airodinamics like that would really matter for grip all u really have to do is take hot glue and put it on the tires...et it dry for a lil while so its not to soft that it will leave trakes and not to har so it slides...oooorr u can put about a few pounds of super duper small weight in the back near the tires and for the front wheels...whoo needs them when ur gonna be doing a wheelie most of the time dont worry i could never do it..im only 13 with no job or money with a crazy mind...

You could put a little line lock on the front wheels and hold burnout competitions on your coffee table!

Why electric?

OK...a 5.0 would be cool...just to say one has a 5.0 in a ZZ 'Stang...he he he

But...

As long as we're living in a Tim the Toolman type of dream world here, how about we forget about the electrics of all of this for a moment, and travel a different route...

Anybody ever hear of Microturbines? They exist about the size of cell phone batteries (the small ones) right now. Still a little big for us, but getting there. These little buggers are actual turbines that run on butane, and turn 70,000 RPM and better. He he he...Me thinks I could have far too much fun with that. How about a Bit F-15 Eagle! Ha! Oh my...I could have fun...

Meanwheil...back to your regularly scheduled reality!

Chris
