I just thought the black rims didn't look right because they are flat black. Maybe I should paint them gloss black so it matches the glossy trim?

Any tips on painting straight lines on window trim and painting details in general would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure you need any tips, that looks great! For me though, it's a fine brush and a steady hand. Nothing more to it really. That car looks really good. I'm kinda likin the chrome wheels too after seeing them on the finished car.

after all the paint has dried, put masking tape on the windows, then make sure you still see your part that u wanna paint, then put strips of tape around the part that u wanna paint (so you can barely see the thing u wanna paint. Then paint it with a very fine brush. Use light amounts. Then after the paint has dried
peel off the tape, and if you see and excess, use a q-tip and dip it in a little bit of thinner or achochal on the windows, if it leaked a bit.

The chrome rims just look like 5hit compared to black

I like the chrome rims. Don't scrap the thing because the trim is too glossy. Here's a trick I use. Get a can of flat clear. If you can't find it in a bottle, buy a spray can and spray a little puddle into the cap. Take your fine brush, and carefully coat the trim in the flat clear. Viola! You got flat trim. You could also just buy the clear coat I mentioned and apply it over everything to get a uniform shine. Try flattening the trim. You'll be amazed at the difference when it dries.
Oh, and one more thing. If you get off a bit here and there when brushing the trim color on, spray some of the car's color paint into a cap. Take that fine brush again and touch up the mistakes. Now clear coat everything a couple of times and the little brush strokes will disapear like magic. You can get perfect hand painted trim and details this way.

damn fine work there it's hard to say what i like more the chrome or the black they both work nicely so it's entirely up to u very smooth paint job. just the only thing that i notice is the back end is kinda empty can i suggest an exhaust or something to draw from that big empty space under the back bumper that'd be pimp man very nice work again

somehow I think the rims would look a lot better on an SUV instead.... JMO of course.

I do plan on putting some custom exhaust on. I have something just a little different than what I've done before. I had originally planned to do a lot to this car, but I may save all that for the next one. I want to find that special color to paint it.
