ph2t, those homemade PCBs are lookin good man! Nice professional quality going there. I do a lot of freeforming, but these babies make me want to go out and get an etching kit. Great stuff!

Thanks Azimov, I've trashed a lot of pcb's trying to get the process right. I used to use the resitive pen as well and I still do for a few applications but with SMD design it's just too small. I bought some photo-resist copper board and developer solution as well. I create the pcb design in CircuitMaker 2000 and then print a negative of the design. I cut out the pcb and then peal off the protective covering (doing this in low light). I then sandwich the overlay and pcb under a plate of glass and the expose it under a UV globe for about an hour. Once this is done the resist that was exposed to the UV changes composition. I use a developer solution to remove the un-exposed resist leaving me with the resist in the places I want it to be. I've manage to get tracks as small as 0.2mm in width!! I need to with some of the packages I've been using. I then etch the pcb in some acid and whalaa! All done.

Here's the finished PCB:
Here's some video of the PCB in action: HERE
Here's the KITT2000 from Knight Industries:
Here's some video of the car in action with a very graphic and violent ending.....

I will be making a limited amount of these for those who are interested. The only problem is they are not cheap ($30 USD inc shipping) and there will be a min 2 week turnaround. Sorry but it ain't the easiest to make, as you've seen in this thread. I wasn't going to do this but I thought that some fellas would appreciate..... Email me at ph2t@prahranpianos.com for details. Enjoy.
