Ladies and Gents...Repent NOW for Armageddon is upon us!
A digital proportional, 1/64th scale car WITH Head/Tail lights...for $24.99???!!!! That's absolutely mind boggling. Surely the end of the world is at hand!
Now I just gotta decide whether I want to be a 1st generation buyer of the ZipZap SEs, or wait for maybe 2nd or 3rd gen (as some of us 1st gen ZZ buyers KNOW those were crap).
Any way you look at it though, this is news worhty of great anticipation!

that's true namuna... when i found out about zipzaps from a friend from cali, i was so exicited about them..but no rs stores had them in stock... it took me one frigg'n month off calling( not to mention all the times the workers lied about having them in stock" oh i thought we had some, my bad i'm sorry about that" to finaly find a set... and when drove the 1st gen zipzap for the first time i was soo disapointed...it was hella slow and the range was like 3 ft...... i hope the new zipzaps work better than the look...
That is why i made my own zipzap a true 1/64 scale bit char-g..
 hehehheh
well i hope ya'll can find some pics of the new zipzaps
later guys

The manager at my local RS said they received a notice that the Zip Zap SE's will arrive in stores between Sept. 10th. and 15th. I was the first name on the list. I told them to put me down for 2 of everything!

I don't really care about the newer ZipZaps, because I'm used to the older generation mods, (like the Layman's dual cell) but I AM really happy about the older generation being released once again.

Xmods Spoiler
The following info is not been verified yet take with a grain of salt.
According to the info that arrived at my store today Xmods may start to arrive in stores in late September or early October.
Some of the cars should be Starter sets Nissan Skyline, Acura RSX, Honda Civic (2 colors), Toyota Supra (2 colors), also body sets of each car as well. There will be Speed sets, Tire Sets, Stearing and Suspension set and (get this) AWD Kit, and a tool kit.
Some special order parts my even be a lap counter and transponders and custom decal sets. Can't wait to see how much of this stuff is actualy going to hit the stores. I'll post prices as soon as I know for shure. I do know that the catalog numbers will start with 60-8001 for the first starter and 60-8501 for the first upgrade parts.

The only info I have recieved is the scale is the same as the Corvette and Viper so I'd say 1:43 equal to the Epoch.
