2.4 or 3.6 volts with upgraded steering magnets will turn the tires good enough, trust me.

Here's the progress on my Monster bit so far. The chassis is from a 1/64 scale Micro Blast RC, with motor powered steering. I had to revamp the gear system, do a tri-cell battery mod, solder in a 21.5 motor, add the monster sized wheels, build a battery cage, and add lift tabs to fit the body. It still needs a mess of finishing touches and some lights and stuff, but the Hummer is 100% functional right now. It kicks major butt over any wimpy little Bit out there.

thats awesome man. Im basically just gonna move the front steering and rear and put tabs on and give it fixed axle suspension (bout 1/4 to 1/2 more suspension) and give it that monster truck feeling.

i think im gonna go to Michaels (if you know what that is) but some easier to mess with wire, some sort of aluminum, and other assortments.

The tires came off of some 1/43 scale pullback I found at the drugstore. It was a die cast pickup truck. I'm not sure what the brand was. I just hacked it up for parts, and threw the rest away.
