OOOOO lookin good !!! that's one nice celica...

my intercooler looks much the same, but my muffler, it's more like one of the rice cans you see on some civics, thin walled, but pretty big and angled... it's not cut that far into the body, maybe just 4 millimeters...

im looking to make an APR wing... cuz i dun have too much money to go eat other cars for the parts

Looks Great coolmanmj! if you're making any other mods on your celi, let me know!! ... not many pple have them

Nice Work!

hmm sorry man, i dun got a digicam!! im gonna see if i can get one from my dad's workplace, and get all the pix i can in one nite... hmmm i noticed urs is cut straight into the body, whereas mine is a little bigger in diameter, but it's put into the bottom of the car... like i cut a little semi-circle where the plastic "pipe" thingy used to be...

i'll grab those pix as soon as i can for you!

heh, what mods do you have on that thing?

On that celica i had a duel cell mod and then decided to take it off it killed my motors. I switched the stock spoiler with a import tuner one because i think the stock ones don't look that good. The muffler obviously. I switched the stock wheels with import tuner wheels, which didn't work so well because the holes aren't exactly centered and they don't run good (but they looked awesome). I also made a spoiler for it but it looked bad. oh and the intercooler is made from the grip side of a cd case painted silver (the staple ones don't stick so well). i lowered the front 1 tab down. And thats about it for the mods done to this car.

I also kinda melted the pcb cover when puting on the heat shrink for the second battery

Well i look forward to see your celica.

ohh... wow, that's quite a bit of stuff... heh, im done the muffler and intercooler, (made from an AC adapter and staples), just swapped out the motor last nite, (2.6, running pretty quick!) and thinkin about making a wing....

hmm the digicam is bein used by some dude at my dad's workplace.. but i'll post the pic as soon as i can! =)

Hi,

I'm planning to use ballpoint pen tips for the mufflers I'm making... How did you guys stick the mufflers into the bodies? I know you shouldn't use super glue, but how about glue gunning it?

Also, what did you use to cut through the body? Would a plain cutter suffice?

Thanks guys!

sowy, i cut away the place i wanted to have my exhaust stick through by using a small drill bit, it was hard cause the drill was kind of old (the drill i used stood in place, a handheld one might not work unless u have stable hands). I glued my exhaust to the chassis using plastic cement.

hmmm.. if you ask me, the pen tips simply arent big enuf... but then again, i AM a riceboy..

i didnt cut a hole in the body, but more dremeled away the plastic pipe thingy and made a semicircle in the bottom of the shell... it looks a little more real, although it decreases the ground clearance a little, as well as being harder to secure.. but it might look better... only with a large diameter pipe tho

hope this helps

I used a round file to make the hole on my celica. I wish i didn't put the pen tip mod that high. I drilled a hole in the chasis to put the pen tip then i didn't like it got an import tuner muffler (thats whats in those pictures. Man those pics make my celica look dirty.) and filed it up to the hole so it wasn't a complete circular hole in the chasis (I Just confused myself with that one).

Good luck understanding that its kinda hard to xplain.

Talking

Thanks guys! I'll also look into getting one of those import tuners but since I live in Manila, they may be hard to come by.

Well, guess it's time to bring out that old drill....!
