that's sweet pig!

how fast does it go? and what's the range on that thing?
hmm that charging system seems MUCH more convenient... **cough cannibalize cough**

k this is a question mainly for swavey... i just realized.... my celica, the supra and the auto modellista set are ALL .... this... kinda.. is a bit of a problem... **sigh**

i was wondering... if it's at all possible, do you have any other frequency chassis and controller that you could swap out for the supra? i know it;s asking quite a bit... (no pun intended)
but do you have any that you would be willing to switch?

the auto modellista set is okay at 27, i dont mind.. but the supra... if i could have one chassis a different freq, so as to be able to race 2 cars in my collection.. (as of april, thx swavey!)

if you like, i could pay you something for your troubles...

thx d00d... i owe you one..

My decision for doing an external dual cell rather than an internal is there isn't much room inside. I'd also hate to canabalize my bodies and find out is looks bad. I also tear my clones down all the time so having something else that big in the way would annoy me to hell!
My lap timer will be used for at least 2 cars, if not 4. It will use the standard laser(s) and IR receptor and flags placed on the antennas of the cars. I will also make it capable of doing 1/4 mile scale runs hopefully. I will probably mostly use it for testing my mods, seeing which work and how well.
Your bit controller may have a cripple cap which is pretty easy. The cripple cap in the car isn't so easy. The antenna was actually pretty easy but soldering is required. May also want to try POT adjusting. All the instructions are on the QuestForMadness site.

Neat stuff!

Yeah i ment seperate, I got a booster car box and a 4 freq remote for 45 bucks in total. And the Auto Medestilla set for about 50.

I know i can find better prices if i look around, should be no problem. If anyone from surrounding area, or farther for that matter, is interested, just let me know, I reads these forums every day at work, so I can stay in contact with everyone.

C_CRX: I think you should push for the dual internal!!!
it is so much more in demand then the external. Im trying to make my cars as realistic as possible, heh I dunno about you, but i never seen a car with a fat "barrel" sitin on the back.... will the shorter cells fit vertically beside each other by any chance, that would add good wheelie power, and you could put tiny tiny wheels on the back bottom to wheelie for a good meter or so, lol. Oh by the way, on the last page, you said you dont think the 4 freq controller has a boost button or somethin, not sure if I understood properly, but Yeah it does, hencve why it was designed for the boost cars sold separetly without a controller. I cant stand the square controller that came with the Auto Modestilla set, so i dont use it, I just use my 4 freq...

Pie: If i understood corectly, yeah it should be doable, Im assuming you would like a brand new chassis and controller? Would you just like to buy two, lol, or get two and sell one to someone, maybe even someone posting here would be interested in a trade or something i can swap, thats no problem. I just would rather have someone to take the swap car (i dont really need another 27 lying around, cause my Auto Modestilla set is that. But we can work something out im sure (I got friends i can convince if you cant find another way)

dabigpig: you should for sure see if you can learn more about that charging method, I like it more, wires are a lot easier to work with then connectors.. only problem is getting the "plug" to fit in a bit, heh...... Let us know

presto: I was just curious hopw much profit you make on these cars? (trying to understand how much you pay for each in yen?) heh by my calculations on that i can get retail you muct be making a killing! lol...........anyways, im just curious....

well..... that was kinda long Im gonna shut up now, sorry if all that made no sence
