well i dont want to boast my painting skills, rather let all you guys be the judges once i get me a digi-cam (which is gonna be soon here, probably within this month) i've done a few paint jobs, the one im workin on now for my friend, is an F1 KOOL color scheme for a Skyline clear shell.... itz still in the basic stages, cuz i was fixin my friend's graphing calculator, he messed it good and he'd just made a wicked game for it, first priority to save that calculator game for tomorrow's calculus class

which i may add was a success with a little soldering *whew* couldve been an expensive screw up

pie- im 17 goin 18 in may, and for the years i've been making models my skills are a little under par to what i'd like them to be

but i'll let you guys decide, im gonna start doing some high quality body kits now, im basically tryin to apply all my knowledge from putty and painting from models to these lil babies, hopefully i'll come out with a nice one or two

amount of homework i get these days, with girlfriend, work, sports and bits and of course gundams.....i never sleep, i really should put that on my list of things to do

anyway i dont have a digi-cam available, so i took my polaroid and took a REALLY ugly shot of 6 of my bit collection(itz all i got for ya now dudes), basically you can see nothing resembling details its such a butt ugly pic, but i'll try and describe what's on there til i get me a digi-cam.. red evo VII top left i decaled up and black windshield ( mind you im not goin into what i've done internally just looks), top middle nissan skyline dark blue/yellow scheme, top right white WRX, decaled up and black windshields, below the white WRX is my friend's skyline KOOL layout i just finished with a 2nd clearcoat (i wish you guys could see the details, all friggin handpainted logos and man honda and the kool logos are real bitches to get parfect with a brush....man i am impressed with what i was able to churn out. middle bottom, all i did was black windows, and two white painted racing stripes, and blue WRX bottom left is black windows and decaled to poop...... dammit where's a friggin digi-cam when i need one. ok well crap now i cant even get the CRAP pic to load.
i need sleep, i'll try to work er later. my description probably is better than that crap polaroid........stupid cheap cameras

hopefulluy i'll get some good pics of the KOOl before RAymond gets to play with it on his bit, and with his driving skills..........there wont be much left of it

dabigpig I live in Calgary, and now I changed it to include that info in my avatar.

I finally got my batteries in!!! Oh YEAH 150MAH POWER!!!! plus I got some 1.6 motors, I've have nothing slower than a 2.4, so it will be interesting.

I am working on a mod to disconnect the battery when it's notin use since you shouldn't leave a ni-mh dicharged, so in the mean time, i am going to have to unplug it every time, no biggy. I am working also on a monster truck. I have these huge tires and have been waiting until I got some 1.6's.

Has anybody been trying some plastic molding to their body? I want to add some body to my wrx, since it needs a sweet mod so it can be a low, rally x racer. I heard you can use some kind of mixture and mold it on like plasticine or something.

Sweet, I'm back into bits again. If only I could get a mini-z, but that would cost like 250 plus 50 for batteries. and I have to save that money for a Gameboy SP.

Anybody want a Gameboy Advance???

novastar - where'd you get $250 + $50?? its like $167 to get it shipped to your house man!!!!! oh yeah dont get the GBA SP. that thing is GARBAGE!!!!!! total waste....... from what i hear...... the thing is bout the dame size of a ORIGINAL gameboy..... just you can fold it up...... and the color screen isnt that much better

yeah strakka, i agree with you on the ladies...at this age, what good is having a gf? waste of time on the phone everyday, and waste of money.....ANNNND NO FRIGGIN CAR!!! plus, all the girls in my school are ugh..lol. and like 3 of them are gold diggers (that means you'll be poor after a week if you go out with them) lol

damn, -v2oracle-, now i want to see your bits!! im sorta in the process of painting a WRX white/black but all im waiting for is some tamiya masking tape and a good can of clear coat. DAMN, that reminds me, i shoulda bought some tamiya masking tape at WEM yesterday! CRAP. Now the only thing i hope for is kingsway commex hobbie having some!

Now i cut off the spacer on the KITT gear just enough to fit. but now the gears wont mesh properly even with the 7 tooth pinion gear...

i wanna see the difference between gears...

anyways about the 7tooth pinioncheck to make sure that the 7 tooth gear isnt touching the side of your motor well...... if it is just add some paper behind it ...... that always works.... it pushes the motor up so that th gears mesh better........ wait you are talking about the motors gears not meshing with the 2nd smallest rite???

haha, I get a kick out of that. I personally take a different view. I dont spend money on girlffriends, heh cause I dont have any. But Im the kind of person who would sneak into my friends house and leave roses or other things hidden.... just for fun..
Certain times spending the money is worth it, others............
