tyco canned heat 9v batt mod
i got bored and decided to try this, it is easy to do , just cut out the seperator where the 2 aa batts would be and insert the 9v
the car spins its tires and flies now!!!!!

i dont have a digi camra but the mod is fairly simple the 9v fits in place of the aa bats u may need omething in there with it to keep it connected to the contacts and i used some hot glue and lexan to secure it in

u r a genius
wow well i got a bit bored with the nine volt so i mashed my car to pieces at the top looks like a massive sun roof and i put the nine volt in the bottom and added two aa batts aswell i can now sweetly say dont try this at home.
my car does wheelies but it is imposoble to turn. but it is jusmayhem when i swith this mother on.
i think it will burn the engine though

I want to do that but insted of a 9v put in a couple more AA's becuase then you get the amps to push the motor

i tryed this a couple years ago...it goes great but the 9v stops after awhile because it gets hot

i put a 7.2v race pack off a larger rc car on my tyco rebound its the one with the rolecage
it flew
you couldent control it I loved it untill it broke

i did that. But then I made the mistake of putting ca glue on the front wheel and now one is locked. so i got mad and threw it at a tree and the steering motor went flying out.

my car only has 3 wheels it has a single center wheel in the front and two back wheels it was like a british or french european car but it handled great

That mod works great just 9Volt batts. don't have much of a capacity!

i put one of those rechargable batteries from a "tyco racing rat" car. it was fun, but i abused it and jumped it down stairs. i bought a couple more after that, then i got a mini-z

I did that to a canned heat a couple of years ago and fried the pcb. It sure was fun while it lasted though.

i put 2 nine volts in my tyco speed wrench and it goes so fast i can only use the off road tires or it spins out
