Question LXX Type-R

I found these on toyeast today, has anyone tried them? They seem comparable to MS Pro, but $9 cheaper, 5 freq & racing bodies. For link Click Here

If they're good I'll buy one, and maybe some other stuff to offset the shipping.

plus it comes stock with a 3.0 motor, but If you buy it from toyeast they throw in a 3.5 motor and perfection heatsink, nearly worth the price of the car alone

yeah, well like I said, At least I'll get a nice looking heatsink, 3.0 and 3.5 motor and a sweet body (and another less sweet body, unless I do something to it) even if the car's crappy. I'll get the 4.2 and 4.2 PRO set too, maybe a headlight kit

i dont knwo about the lxx type r's but i got a lxx auto modellista booster before there were type r's out...in unboosted mode the thing sucks, it barely moves and is a piece of junk, but when you hold in teh boost button it fies, i have a perfection 3.8 in mine and it flips on turns and is hard to cotrol but you barely move without boost so you have to deal with it. and the 3.0's that come with it are compareable to i think a 2.6 but the perfection 3.5 should be good...if you want quality go with the ms or bit booster but i also haven't tried the type r's yet so its not a bad buy for the price...i will order one sometime in the future....after i get my semi from qvc

Well, I'll proplably order one today and I'll write a review. And Im not sure itle suck in unboosted, because I'll most likely have a 4.2 up its butt

But I think the reason yours did so bad unboosted is because I think the 3.8 has little torq

okay, toyeast said it would come on Aug. 12-14, but they usually purposely overestimate by 3-8 days, so I'm expecting it to be here sometime next week.

it'll come on aug. 6-7 they always take a week unless u live in japan or china. then it takes like 2 days. but customs might slow it down cause they randomly search packages just in case they look suspecious

wanna hear what i got?

Toyeast order

perfection 4.2 and 4.2 pro
perfection white headlight kit(is a piece of crap)
Tomy Honda NSX-R Racing body
Tomy Auto Modellista Set 27 mHz
3.8 motor.

Cost + S&H=48.38

Then there was my Tiny RC order

MS Nissan Skyline R-34 Body set(yellow and clear)
TRC 3.8 motor(also a piece of crap, but i think i got a bad one)
MS Gear Sets
MS tire set

Cost + S&H=23.96

i paid 4 the previous 2 orders.

And then for my birthday, i got

Clone Panther Subaru Impreza 35 mHz
MS Nissan Skyline R-34 49 mHz

i blew up the clone with fireworks and trashed the skyline's steering, pcb and rear axle, so i took an axe and split it down the middle. i trashed the clear skyline body and threw away the crappy 3.8 TRC motor.

there goes $56 bux down the tube. oh well, at least i still have my dignity. LOL

what the?!?

I live on the other side of the country from you (Utah------NC) so it may take a bit longer for my toyeast order to get to me (or shorter, depending on what side of the country they fly it to )

Man! you got a ton of stuff!
