Have you had problems with your 2.8 or 3.4 motors?
I would like to know if the problems are anomalies or are certain factors involved. A few factors I have considered are:
- Dual/Triple/Etc. Cell or Single Cell
- Which PCB is in your zip (ie. Older one prior to the Black Mustang or new one in the 2 fast 2 furious kits.)?
- How often do you run your cars or more specifically the one that had the 2.8/3.4 motors?
- Is your racing surface Flat? Do you race over carpet or similar surfaces?
- Which gear combo do you use?
I have not had any problems yet; all my cars are stock with either blue or red gears, and newer PCB’s. I run them on semi flat tile and sometimes over carpet, they get used once or twice a week.

I haven't had any trouble with mine, but I am in the same boat as you. All newer PCB's, all stock except one, and flat surface.

No problems at all over here with a stock 60-7007 PT Cruiser (I think it has the 2nd PCB in it).

Almost forgot, my nephew has the stock red Mustang, and the motors work fine with it. AFAIK that one has the original PCB of the three.
