make sure u use the black pinion gear that goes on the motor...although it comes with a white one...dont use it....it seems that only is used for different gear axles...[i think]

the white pinion gear is used with bit racer's gears
DO NOT use that on your bit char-g unless you're running bit racer gears

Hey guys, well i found out a great motor which works in my bit and has LOTS O TORQUE!!! The ZZ RED motor!! This thing is sweet!!! I put ZZ wheels on the back of my bit and now my bit can pop the front wheels in the air of i go in reverse and slam it into forward (must warn you though, if you do this a lot you can damage gears and what not) But yeah this motor is awsome. I want to try out the yellow NOS motor now...

Lol, you prefer to not have a 3.8 cuz it's color is Pink? Who cares about the motor trim color, you can barely see it after placing the heatsink and the body on anyway. BTW i think I saw an OEM grey 3.8, which should fit your needs of non-feminine type colors.

The 3.8 is not made by Tomy. The highest motor Tomy makes is 3.0 so far. You should get the 3.8 because there is probably no other way to figure out what the heck is wrong with the 3.0. With the 1.6, you can go up hills because it has lots of torque. The higher the numbers go, ie: 3.8 = Less torque, but more top speed. Therefore, you can't go up a hill with a 3.8.

heh...well that tourque to speed thing does not always work with all motors. My 3.0 has more tourqe AND speed than any of my other motors...it just depends on your motor. If you get a good one, thank the bit char-g spirits for the gift!

henry, the ZZ (or ZIP ZAP) motor is from radio shack. You can find info on them from the Zip Zap Forum. I got my motor with the booster upgrade kit. It also came with a blue motor, but that was to slow for my taste.
