Notice the all season treads are designed to push water away from the center of the tire, allowing for a fuller contact on wet surfaces.

Agree they are a bit high. The PT is tall if you compare it to a real one. Yes the porsche is strange. I though the MicroQ porsche was werd but that beat it.
So these are deformed verticle while a bit is deformed horzonaly. Intersting. And a iRacer is just flat squished on all directions!
The following reason are why it will sell big:
Cheep basic set with popular car bodies.
Different that what has be sold before.
Back by RS. If it does not work, just go back to the store.
Cheep upgrade parts, car, shells etc.
Avaiable just about everwhere. Compared to Tomy/Bulets/Microsizer etc.
No import problems.
This may kill off the bullets oem. Same price but better quality.
Did some one notice the trading card holder? It holds up to forty cards! Hint.

Wonder how much inventory will be left by monday? Went to the one that is close by and they had starter sets and tuneup kits behind the counter. The mall near me has only the base car/controller and out of the rest. For 13 dollars just could not turn down the F&F kit. Wish I had also grabbed the basic Tuneup since I wanted a 1.0 motor and that kit has it. Oh well. Hope they have one left tomorrow.
Just had a terrible though. What if this is this years Cabbage Patch Kid/Furby/etc! Yuck! Esp when Shaq starts advertising them!

I just don't see how that is a bad thing. I know this is not the ever-popular elitist attitude, but more sales and more competition means faster progress and improvements...not to mention more drivers locally.

I hope they sell a ton of these cars and sets. Its not them making money or selling them. There is enough room for RS, Tomy and even the oem's to sell and make a proffit. The bennifit is that parts from one does fit the other! That is impressive.
The thing I hate is when it goes to crazy mode and people start putting a huge surcharge on thing when people go to mad mode and want it at any cost. Like the Ebay sellar asking for $100. Or the power companes in good old CA! Proffit is one thing ripping off is another.
PS: They had plenty in stock. Got a basic tunup set with a 1.0 motor today.

i got to play with them for a bit. this is what i think of zip zaps.
the quality of it is low. the tires doesn't fit tight light how BC does, but its neat how you can change wheels. i think you can swap the wheels onto the BC. the bodys suck, BC bodies looks better. the antenna is short, range is about the same stock. Speed not that much difference hard to tell cause of the different motors and that i got dual and triple battery in my BC. No light on the charger to tell you when its done. only 1 light that tells you that the radio is on. one thing i like about the zipzap is that it handles alot better than a BC it goes straight, i guess cause it had a longer wheels base. zipzap are also cheaper than BC 2 motors, 3 axle, gears and 2 bodies for only $13. All that for a BC would cost around $30. Thats about it right now. Next thing to do is a dual or triple cell mod on it and see what happens.

Well the Zip Zap I got tells you when its charging. I turn the remote on and the light is green when I place the car on to charge the light turns red and when its done charging it turns green again telling me that the car is ready for driving. It also has a range of about 20 feet, my BC is only about 12 feet. There is no cripler cap in my remote, didnt have one. They do steer nice, the FF pack is cool, I kinda like the bodies in that pack. Only this is that they give you gear sets but I cant seem to find out what ratio each set is.. I think this will be the hot item this XMAS..

Welcome to the Community OddTimeSean!
That's a scary thing about all the high place ZipZap racers! Though I'm surprised to hear that people are seeing the faster car to be the Zipzaps. For the most part, I've been hearing people say the ZZs are slower than comparible Bits.
Especially since the stock motor is a 1.6!
Then again, winning isn't about just who's the fastest...But rather who's the BEST (which means; speed AND control).
While you've definitely got some concern with competing on the performance aspect...You've got ZERO CONCERN with competing against the aesthetic aspect, ZZs are just butt ugly (in my opinion).
