Step by Step
1st you need a dremel tool.
2nd you need a metal cutting wheel bit for the dremel.
3rd you need a sanding drum bit.
4th you gotta be VERY carefull.
5th you cut the metal pegs off.
6th you sand down what is remaining of the matal and plastic.
You're done.

You're going to have to cut the metal pieces some how and a dremel is the best way. I suppose if you have a drill handy you might be able to find a cutting wheel bit of some sort that would fit the drill. Unfortunatly the pieces are diecast metal and need to be removed.

The import tunerz are too big for bits, sorry. You could make them fit a bit but it would probably be easier to just make your own shell.

The rims are huge. They will fit but some shaving of the chassis is going to be needed.

Schweeeeet!

Wow...haven't been around lately, and just came back to this thread. Wowwie-K-Zowwie! Those look absolutely sweet! Need to get motivating on the ZZSS project again. Got my Shen parts cars for the boards today. That means solderfest tonight (if I don't go to the National Western Stock Show...I'm a city slicker redneck at heart). Thanks for the inspiration to get me moving again!

Chris

There's a Modifier 1:64 scale Caddilac Escalade, Honda Accord, Honda Civic, Acura Integra, Ford F150, Ford Focus, GMC Yukon, Mitsubishi Eclipse, and more. On the 1:64s you can tint the windows, change the rims, and change the seats. Though if you want rims for your Bit, or Zip Zap, get the 1:43 scale Modifiers.

EDIT: Oh, and the bodies are metal though.

Shavin Rims

Instead of shaving some parts of the chassis for the rims to work, can't you just make the rims thinner?
