HLJ is really starting to erk me.
February 27th I ordered the new beatle bit chr-g car from hobby link japan. The car was listed as in stock. It is now march 5th and I still haven't gotten a shipping notice. Even after a pretty nice and courteous email I sent them 2 days ago (no reply )
WTF!!!
This is my first order from hlj and I was wondering if this is normal. I order from toyeast all the time and have yet to have any problems with their processing or shipping. Tonight I look on toyeast's site and find the beatle up.
The worst part of this situation is that i'm not really that big on the beatle, my wife is, so i thought I would try to get her into these cars with one of these.
Well that's enough venting.

Well I got a reply to email #2....
Quote;
"Thank you for writing. Please note that orders are not processed on weekends; we are not open on weekends. Your order was confirmed when we opened on Monday. Payment was then verified, and your order is now being packed for shipping. A shipping confirmation will be e-mailed as soon as UPS picks up the shipment with your package in it. Your patience is appreciated."
The order is now being packed for shipping
Yeah that's great, it's been 4 days since monday and I'm supposed to be cool with this. I ordered from toyeast on sat and it was shipped monday and most likely arrive (if past shipments are the norm) by friday. I think this is the last time I order from HLJ.
I am a very impatient man when it comes to BS.

Ooof, that sucks.
I've had similar issues as you, just in reverse...HLJ has been good to me (2 orders with them so far), but Toyeast so far has been a nightmare.
Who the heck knows what those monkeys are doing in Japan and HK.

sessiz10, from what I understand, HLJ doesn't keep most of those items in stock, they just take orders, and then go into local shops to get the product. So in your case they probably couldn't find any of the shops near them that had it.

I'm gonna take your word for it tiny.
That is real shady, I know I'm not ordering from them again.
I'll stick with toyeast.

I was told this by a friend in Japan who lives near them, so I think it should be accurate.

I'm really pissed too. I've made several ordrs with them and it arrived fast and I was happy. This time, I'm really pissed. I PREORDERED a Gundam Fix Figuration EX-S Gundam, and it's already been 4 months. It was on backorder the whole time meaning they don't have enough at the time. It's first come first serve. I ordered it before it came out so I thought I was near the front of the line. Hoping it would come before Christmas, it hasn't even come yet. Guess what, BANDAI DOESN'T MAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It's my second favorite gundam.

Well, not to detract from the topic too much but, yeah I like that gundam a lot too. My personal absolute fave is the F90II L-Type. Or the F90 V-type is kinda cool...hmmm....that's probably my second fave. Just out of curiosity what's your first fave?

Maza I'm sure hlj is allright but they really gave me a hassle, so i won't recomend them. I will steer ya towards toyeast though. I have ordered from them 6 times and each and every order took no more than 7 days to get to me. They're shipping from my experience isn't bad at all, considering they are over seas. I will recomend you order a few things at once to save you on the shipping charges.

And you can get a perfection 3.8 motor. This is now my favorite motor.

the thing with toyeast is that they get it from some retailer that no one knows. if you look at this site http://www.mini-rc-car-sale.com/ , they sell exactly the same products as toyeast even perfection motors. same packaging everything. i know toyeast buys from a distinct retailed because my dad is in hong kong right now on vacation and i gave him a list of stuff to buy from toyeast. he went to toyeast's office and they said they dont keep stock of those items. and they gave my dad the address to their retailer. hehe my dad went there and those guys were shocked cuz they arent really a store and they dont advertise. so they were wondering how my dad just wandered into it lol. so if you compare toyeast and hlj, toyeast would be better i guess because they get their stuff from a retailer so it's always there while hlj has to buy it. however, hlj is cheaper...some cases a lot cheaper so it's up to you i guess.
