The HPI motor I am referring too is the round one (I think it's called the "big block"). It is the one in your (Hardtrukr) picture in the 1st post of this thread. AND it is NOT the same size as a 180 motor!

YES,

You have GOT IT!!!

The way the motor is oriented in the car is the flat spots are horizontal. If this were not the case, the motor would NOT clear the drive shaft.

Do you understand now?
Hey, try it anyway; maybe you can get it to fit!

Good luck

are yoy SURE the diameters are the same?

Your sure it's the round motor? Is it the Big Block or something else? Please post a pic.

Also, what pinion and spur gear are you running?

was ist los,

I realize this is not the place to do this BUT I just noticed your signature so I'll tell you why I think usagi HATES Micro RS4's:

The whole novelty of the Micro is that it is small (compared to a 1:10 scale touring car) and handles pretty good. WELL, the whole size thing is NOT a novelty when there are cars like the ABC DTM x-4 which is SMALLER and FASTER and handles practically as well on most surfaces available. So, what pluses does that leave for the "Micro"? Isn't EVEN calling is a "Micro" a misnomer

OK, it's this motor......right? What pinion gear are you using? How many teeth? What about the spur gear?

If you opened up the slot in the bottom of the rear motor pod it should fit? What do you think?
