Everybody else is doing it...
I want a HO - 1/87 scale 1985 Ford Thunderbird. Digital propo steering and throttle, 6v worth of battery with atleast 200mah, 7mm brushless motor, three speed shifting transmition, a locking differential, four-wheel disk brakes, independent suspension hydraulic shocks with coil-over springs. Sticky little tires wrapping scale aluminum-alloy rims.
Estimated cost: About what the US national debt was in the early 90's.

...alright...
zipzap chassis with a high-detail lexan subaru impreza wrx sti body, blue on gold
57mhz booster PCB w/MOSFET modification (steering too)
Rare earth magnets (they do help a little, not a lot )
the whole lineup of bitchar-G motors brand motors (kyles)
no pcb cover
adjustable ride height system (front and back)
axle with lug nut system (interchangeable) with alloy rally rims and tires with assorted compounds and treads
springs!
i think that's about it...man i'd kill for that car..

If it was realistic, it wouldn't be my *dream car*; It would just be the ride I'm working on. Sorry, I've been paying too much attention to those TTTT guys. They've got some cool toys!!
Ok, since you're wanting something that's physically possible.... How about a 1/87 scale 'MAN 5 ton' (2 axle) painted to look like blue-dyed snow cammoflage. Or a 1/87 scale 'Rosenbauer Panther FL' airport crash truck.
Articulating, spring-suspension. Stiff enough gearing not much will stand in it's tiny way. 4 wheel drive. Digital propo throttle and steering, with selectable frequencies....

Zip Zap with:
mini rotary
fuel tank to go with it
at least 1.0 speed
|
Sound familiar anyone?
Anyways, a dream bit...hmmm...I have no idea. Maybe a completely redesigned chassis. Have the motor in the front, providing power to the rear wheels of course, maybe available in 4WD mode. Proportional acceleration and of course, proportional steering. As for speed, I'm fine with 2.2, nice and easy, no need speed. Of course, no range limiters.
As for the body...hmmm...nice supercar...flip open hood reveals the front mounted motor...well, maybe some nice engine block look-a-like detailing, but who knows, maybe we can finally have that mini rotary after all.
Controller, mini pistol grip style (I still want to be able to keep it in my pocket).
Since I already let my imagination go insane, I'll throw in a micro camera and the controller mounted LCD screen to go with it. Lets add nightvision too. Micro-hydraulics!!! high enough to clear...um...can't think of an object that BCGs seem to run into alot. How about working brakes??? Oh, and almost forgot, lights that are activated with the controller and to complement it, real micro HIDs! Underglow too!
I think I have imagined too much, now I will start neglecting my stock 2.2 LanEvo that doesn't even have lights .
