ARGHHH! HELP with SOLDERING!
Hey guys,

I need help soldering!!! I'm such a noob at this stuff. All of my bits are all motor and no turbo(dual cell), so I need help!!

When soldering all that happens is these metal bubbles keep forming but not over the wire I want to connect the battery too. Here are some pics of my hap-hazard attempt...


Here I am placing the solder over the wire and the battery and trying to melt the solder with the iron.


And here's the bubbles...


Can someone give me tips on how to solder? Should I place the wire over the solder and try and melt the solder by touching the wire(not the solder) with the iron?
I really don't know anything about electronics unless it involves programing or computers!
