Can't kill my LXX booster.

So I bought this LXX to do PCB swap eith my Zip Zap. From what I've read, it was supposed to be crap, but mine works perfectly. The only faults I could find are kinda nit picky. The gears were really rough, and wanted to lock up. I noticed the pinion looked hacked, and it literally was, you can see the knife cuts in the can of the motor. So I just replaced the pinion before I ran it, and it was not super quiet, be smooth within reason. Other nit picky points is that all the metal in the car looks dull and cheap. The motor heatsink bends too easy. The tires look like the clunky hard ones on my Cannonball clone, but stick much better. The chrome on the rims isn't quite up to Bit standards, but still doesn't look bad. The center adjustment feel loose and cheap, but works fine.

But the positive out weighs the bad, hence the reasons I can't kill it. Steering is excellent. It seems to deliver power fine. Not as punchy as my MS Sport, but it seems on track with with my Bit. The controller is nice, looks just like a Tomy one, but no Tomy logo. Works fine. Reception is good, no glitching in my little kitchen. The Grey RX-7 body looks pretty nice, and it came with a clear Skyline body that I can't wait to paint. So then I'll have two more cool bodies, but if I kill it no chassis to put them on.

So I'm happy that I got a keeper, but I'm disappointed because now I still need to find a clone to donate a PCB. Maybe I'll just put my Motor Works PCB back in the ZZ.
