4aa external charger.

I have this old 4aa battery charger that I want to mod into a dual cell charger. Is it possible to do this. Where do you solder the wires from the charger panel to the battery cartridge?

Here are the pictures of it. There are 2 more spaces for batteries on the back, notl ike the 2 shown on the picture.
