1/3 AA batteries kind of fit
I found out that 1/3 AA batteries fit in Microsizers.... lengthwise anyway. They are bigger around, and you can't get the cover back on over the pc board.
You also have to grind out the post that holds the battery too.
The 1/3 AA nicads that I have are from an older electric car-toy called a sizzler- they usually have nascar style bodys, and the 1/3 AA is 150mA. Good source if you can find them, and don't mind things not quite fitting back together.
Plus I figured out that a stick-pin is really handy to make the heat sink/motor cover stay on when using a ZZ motor.
Just cut the pin really short, and push it in under the body tab, catching the spring.
