help with removing the body

well, just yesterday i got my first zip zap RC Car (transformers camaro) and i wanted to change the motor and gears, but i need help getting the body off without further damaging it. (i already have a small crack at the bottom) i already got that mini tool kit for it but im clueless on using it too.
