Superflex as antenna lead

Anyone try to use 18 guage superflex as a replacement for the antenna lead? I'm building a new board, and I want to use the same wire everywhere, but AtomicMods said something about the factory wire being tuned for the frequencies involved, but that was just as a response to improving range. All I'm after is asthetic improvement with no degradation of range.
