The Ultimate Track !!
well i dont know if everyone will be able to get their hands on this but i will tell you how i got my hands on it and where you could try....I used to work for a flat top roofing company in Canada callled centrymark or centermark cant remember it is an American company expanded to Canada for those in the States. This company uses i different product to re-roof large warehouses. Instead of ashphalt and stone they used a product called "EPDM" it rolls out like carpet and is available in huge massive dimensions. The product best explained, is like one massive piece of of bicycle tire rubber. For myslef i have grabbed a 30' x 30' piece and stand in the middle. for the track outline, and track roads, I have used television cable and/or old garden hose works awsome, might have to tape them down. Currently i a have the Gilles de Villenueve Circuit as best i could (Formula 1 Montreal Circuit). My 30 ' x 30' is huge but could be bigger 40 x 40 maybe ideal. Anywayz back to the product, I could write on and on actually about it and how there is virtually NO out of control turns or spin outs. and it is the best! sufrace i have found to drive on, hardwood, ceramic, vinyl, concrete are all secondary to the control offered by the rubber surface. I will try to post some pics soon. By the way usually we have 50 to 100 lap races and lap times are arount 1 to 1 .5 minutes depending on your mistakes or the severity of the track i.e grand prix of monaco <= nightmare
please post pics and comments on large scale track ideas 900- 1200 sq ft
