Poor accelleration
I just purchased a Skyline today. I installed the body kit and the stage 2 10 tooth motor. After the motor, top speed seemed a little better, but still a slug off the line.
I think I will lue the rear tires to the wheels, thouh, they are sliping off a lot. I know I need to install bearings, but the bushings should not affect accelleration that much anyway.
The skyline body is going away and a cusom body is being fitted as we speak. I don't plan on racing, just playing around, but I REALLY don't like how slow it is off the line.
I am running non-rechargables (1.5 volts each vs rechargables with only 1.2 volts), and I am not sure where to go from here... Did I maybe put in the wrong motor for a good hard take off?
