I had the problem with the traction roll only with motors equipped with neo magnets.
I am driving on pvc rooms. Very very soft in the rear, if I press the car down, it stays on the floor. In the front it comes up a little.
With this setup the car drives perfekt. Rear diff as light as possible befor slipping to much, front a little lighter, because of weighttransfer.
On asphalt its another story.
You donīt have to be afraid of your esc!!!! We are driving on track with smaller ratios and 7,2V. The fets get only hot if you are driving not full throttle all the time!!!!
The axle has a diameter of 2mm!!! We take steel wire.
Now I will test the HPI modified moto, but its silly expensive.
Waiting for Ebay. That will be the largest motor you can put into the mini-x without getting undriveable.
