I 've got a few easy mods that I've done to my XMod, I jusr thought I'd share.
BTW, if anyone can think of anymore, post away.
-If you want to make your XMod quieter, it's easy: all you have to do is take apart the differential and put a light grease on all the gears
(you can also put some thicker grease for an LSD effect).
-For a cheap alternative to metal bearings upgrade all you have to do is take out all the nylon bearings and lubricate them with some fine powedered graphite (found @ your local hardware or hobby shop). For directions on taking out the bearings, use the metal bearing upgrade directions:

-It's a good idea to put a layer of hot glue on the battery terminals to prevent them from accidently shorting out on the motor's heat sink.
-To keep your motor a little cooler try polishing your heat sink (if you have the stage 2 upgrade) with a little rubbing alcahol and a dremel with the polishing attachment.
