AWD Upgrade: One way bearings

Hi! Im just a zipzipse'er at this time (Hey Charlie!). The xmods look pretty cool (can't believe Im saing that about a radio shack r/c).

Just a idea from my previous reincarnation racing the Predator Sedan way back then before the rc10tc3..

You guys with the awd upgrade might check to see if there is any company (Boca Bearings still around??) that makes one way bearing in the size the xmod takes.

If you get two, and install them on the fronts differential outputs (or was it the rear to front drive shaft?) Ugh! Been too long. it will allow the front end to "freewheel" under deacceleration, and awd when accelerating.

Thus you get the "punch" on acceleration, but dont loose as much speed when letting off the throttle (example into corner).

If it helps, think of it creating sorta a "diff" between the front and rear awd. In short it helps reduce "scrubbing" and allow more "fluid" control on drifting.

Also will slightly help regain some runtime, reduce motor heat, and possibly help slightly with tire wear.

(I did check to see if anyone posted this tip yet, didn't see anything relevant, so if this has been covered-sorry)
