So i just picked up a couple of ZZ SEs this weekend (one for me and one for my GF) I got the 2F2F body upgrades (pink convertable for the girl) and the initial D upgrade kit. I took the lights out of one of the initial D bodies and put them in the pink body....it doesnt clip in any more, but she is happy enough with it, it looks pretty good, event though it has a high backend.

So I wanna do a crazy modded ZZ now...here is my plan, and some questions.

I wanna build a monster truck ZZ Se. here are the steps i forsee:

1) the wheels, i will have to dig through a toy storeand get some wheeps around the size of the lego wheel mod, but hopefully better looking, and maybe rubber...anyone come across anything like this? and has anyone put large wheels on the SE, i wanted to know if the steering would be a problem?

2) multi battery...With the frame raised to accomidate the bigger wheels, i should have plenty of space to put 3 or so batts on top of the PCB...so for power (i will get to why in a minute) should i wire the batts in parallel, or serial? and where can i get the batts? my local ratShack is kinda limited on its supplies...i dont even think they carry LEDs anymore..

3) lights...i wanna replace the reverse lights with white LEDs, and have a second set of lights (running of its own battery) with the original reds, + some blue driving lights in the front so it will always have the rear red lights, and driving lights on, and when you reverse the new white reverse lights come on, and when you go forward the standard head lights come on...anyone know a good place online to order this leds (once again my local ratshack sucks)

4) here is the real biggie....dual motors...it seems to me that with the batteries moved above the PCB i could mod the chassis to accomidate a second motor in front of the gear....to power these i assume i will need to do the mosfet mod (where can i get the new resistors for this?) if two motors is not possable, i may try to use a pager buzz motor (i have a couple of old pagers in my closet) if i can power them...but once again this seems like it would require the mosfet mod....

my final question is what motor(s) / gears should i use for maximum torque? not so much worried about top speed (that will be the next project) more just wanna get it to crawl over stuff.

thanks for any help....also is there a good over view of the mosfet mod for the SEs ? their PCbs are all black so its kinda hard to make out what is what....
