Ok so my truck is almost complete, just need to mount my electronics (which I have all planed out). This is my first time ever working with soldering brass together, so it gets ugly at some points... Other than that, I think it turned out pretty well for my first time. I spent most of Thanksgiving weekend working out the slop in the front end, and I'm very pleased with the results!
Can't wait to get this thing running (should be completed by tomorrow night!) As soon as the train store gets my Man 5T in, I'm going to start on a chassis for that, and I should be getting some of those airplane electronics for Christmas... Anywho, here are the pics.
