All I can say is don't shop there if you don't like his rules. There are obviously lots of places to buy these gadgets.
I will tell you that my experience purchasing from him recently was first rate. He answered all my questions, took a phone call from me to answer more, discounted the price from his listings (due to quantity purchased) and shipped same day.
I think there is something to be said for good, reliable customer service.
