It is a 50' flat sprinkler hose, it works GREAT, its 1 inch tall and about 1/4 inch thick, 10 bucks for 50' at ace hardware

The tarp feels like some type of plastic, it was just lying around in my friends garage, his puppies tore up the first few layers of it so we figured we would use it

I'll tell ya what I do,
I've had a subscription to MAXIM magazine for about 4 years now so I just lay all the magazines out on the tile floor around my bar and race.
It's great this way because you can modifythe track on the fly and storage is nothing more than piling them up and putting them back on the shelf.
Try it it's a cheap, fast way to set up a track with infinite adjustments.
I will post photos as soon as I get a cord for my camera.
