Cool, I looked twice at the cover and there was no way of putting it back ontop of the chip. I still did not notice much difference with the gyro on it. So, it's off the car right now.
Two most major differences are the Xspeed motor and ball bearing's. The aluminum bit's just add strength and make it look pretty. Oh, the alloy steering plates do feel a bit more precise than the plastic ones. I have not tried an aftermarket battery pack for it yet though. Looking at getting a third Dnano some time soon. The Subaru WRX STI is now available! And it's RM type so it would be interesting to see how RM handles compared to MM.
Although, I am getting drawen into the new Porsche Carrera GT car, that look's sweet and would look right at home with the 360 and Murceilago!

I'm waiting for the 917K. Hoping to wait until the US release but we'll see when that is.

I actually like the gyro now that I have the xspeed motor. It's super fast. You can jam the brakes as if you were trying to force a slide but it doesn't slide. It just turns enough to make the turns fast. Loving it!

I'm sure the gyro is much more usefull on a proper RCP track than a 10X10 square foot of thin office-type carpet. That's all I got to run my Dnano's on, which is fun for a while, but a track would be better.
