I went and looked there, but I am a total noob at picking out electronics. I have no idea what to use. I didn't know they cost so much!

Update! Custom made chassis from the outside of the mechanicle pensil. I've also got the lower arm mounts on the front. Here's a few shots.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you but here they are http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/produc...oducts_id=2129 you will have to take apart the controler to put in the cristal for the frequency.
I love that chassis it is awsome. (Great work so far)

oh yeah and you shouldnt use the stock shocks on customs A-arms, the arms could break with no problem. either that or modifie the stock ones to make is a softer spring.

The stock ones are having a hard time keeping up all the weight that is being put on them allready. I think they will be allright. Time will tell if the plastic a-arms are too fragile.

you could always make the arms stronger and get stiffer shocks.

I'm hoping the arms will hold up, but they are plastic. If they break, I'm going to use brass, like I was going to do in the begining.
I worked a bunch today on wireing up the lights. I got it compleated. I have two lights on the light bar, which go on when the truck goes forward, and two taillights, which stay on all the time.
