When I start to slide, I apply a little reverse lock by tapping/releasing the steering button very quickly. This helps keep me from overcorrecting and spinning out. Dust on floors is awesome for drifting no matter what tires you may be running

not really... you actually accumulate more and more if you don't clean up. That's what happens to my car.

New drift method!

I jsut thought of this a couple of days ago: Put tape on your tires! Alot of tape is so smooth you may be able to get your car to drift really well! Scotch tape is what I am going to use.

Do not tape the whole tire!

put a very thin strip on ALL four tires. Get some electrical tape and devide it length-ways 4 times. In half, then that half, in half etc. It also helps to have a little more weight at the back. This shifts the C.O.G further to the back. If you wanto see the results, check alittle earlier in these posts and you will see my drift vid.

The use of verylittle tape is so that the tires can break traction but not lose all of it.

Hope that helps.

Can I cut the tape instead of fold it?

I haven't been able to drift yet but I can power slide through my turns and that looks about the same as drifting through a turn so I'll post my settings for my car

AE86 shell
2speed chassis
2.2 micro b motors
clone slicks on back wheels
hard tires in front
some dust

Ooo I noticed you have been posting a lot on this topic...

You want stretched out tires? Use front tires on the back axles!!
