EBAY help please.

I'm very new to Ebay. I'm just now starting to understand how it works. What happens if I've bid on something that isn't what it says it is? I'm winning and I probably will win it, but now that I know it's not an actual Tomy, I refuse to pay what I bid for it.

You can retract a bid if the seller claims his product to be something other than what it really is...

What does his seller rating say? How many negative remarks?

What Payaso said, read his negative comments. And, email him and ask him for close up pics and stuff.

He does claim it's a Tomy. What I'm bidding on is the Ultraman Bits....both of them. It's quite possible they're the real thing. What has me believing they're not Tomy's are the controllers. They don't say Tomy and he doesn't show pics of the boxes. I emailed him early Sunday with no response yet.

For the last 60 days this guys record is pretty good. Before that he had some negs, but they've all came back to appologize.

Question:
Do the Ultraman sets say TOMY in bold on the controllers like other Bits? Is there another company even making them?

I might have jumped the gun, but no doubt something I'll need to know in the future. Thanks you guys!

They look real to me, and if he was selling knockoffs, you'd see it in his rating...

I've also never seen any other company try to make those... But what do I know....lol

Thanks everyone for the help. If you have any other ebay secrets (for the buyer) hook me up.

I've stopped ordering from overseas. Every purchase will now be made in the states....unless it's a French product. I won't buy those from anywhere. I just canceled my Sparklets water today and blocked the tv's from getting the USA network. Let's not take this thread there though, ok. You wanna talk more about this, take it to the misc forum where that thread is. Thanks hogjizz.

my ebay experience: read guys feedbacks. especially negative. a lot of big sellers are gona have some negative feedbacks. if it is a shipping issue or "i payed 2$ for a cheap piece of plastic and it broke already" thats normal. its not very hard to smell a scammer just by his presentation. also look at the guys other items. see if he sells other bits or if he sells a bunch of clones.
