My upcoming projects.
Here are my first major Xmod projects. I picked up some clear lexan bodies, and I'm going to try and mount them to the Xmod chassis. I plan on mounting and utilizing some mounting towers like you would find on 1/10 scale cars.
Hopefully you can see the bodies enough in the pics to make them out.
The first one up is a Corvette. The body is a little long, but I think I can cheat enough when I cut the wheel wells out. The width is perfect though.

Next is a Saleen GT1 race car. This body is the right lenght and is flat on the side, so I can cut the wheel wells wherever I want. The body is a little wide, but I have some good wheels in mind that will let me make the width up.

They are actually for 1/24 scale slot cars, they didn't have 1/28. The owner of the shop took the dimensions of my Xmod and is going to try and locate bodies that will fit.

nah, you don't ant holes- make a bracket out of L shaped alumimum from the hardware store, and use velcro to hold it on.
It may be a little heaver than the metal or plastic rods and pins, but it'll look beter-
plus if you are good with a dremel, you can make the brackets adjustable for different bodies.
