Since I am having a little time trouble with 1/87..

I was thinking one of my little non rc electrical rock crawlers into RC? maybe have some steering hooked up and an ESC? it has a pretty torquey motor/gearbox and it's 4wd beltdriven. it has a little rock crawler bod too

You got one of those rock crawlers to...I have one of each body style and have thought the same thing I just havnt had the drive to start into it.

They climb great and look good, all thats left is to make them steerable and install a radio.

Are these the ones the metal bodies and plastic rock display stand? If so, I have one too. I had thought of the r/c conversion.

Those are the ones I have. I have been busy with something else but it would be easy to make it steerable but I think it would look a bit better with those tamiya 1/32 scale monster truck tires.

A proportionate throttle would be way to easy with these, I think I'm gonna buy another and try it on it.

I was just wondering if you guys had seen the 1/64 tyco trucks at walmart I got a gravedigger and maximum destruction today.($14.88)

2wd but still cool

you could use Xmods AWD kit to convert one of those crawlers to steerable 4x4.(just a thought)
