Lowering The Eclipse
Can a the fast and the furious lime green eclipse be lowered? If so how?

The lime green mitzubishi is a lancer evolution. it can be lowered. you need to cut new tab holes in the body and deepen the wheelwells.
i lowered the eclipse spyder convertable.

you can also replace the tabs on the chassis....you will have to search for that post tho...don't have the link at the moment. but using one of these methods you can lower it.

This Eclipse is tab lowered, and I didn't have to shave the fenders either. I like tab lowering better because you can use it on multiple cars and some bodies don't have the room to cut another slot in.

Yep, I lowered the tabs on my eclipse too. I also put small wheels from microsizer fronts all around, for the real "low down".

front end looks pretty close....you have any clearance problems when you turn? thats why i had to shave back the wells on my spyder.

It does look close, but the only time I get any kind of rubbing is if the chassis moves to one side or the other. (My tabs are not exactly the width of the slots in the body. Other than that, it's all good.
